The cast for Kilworth House Theatre revival of 42ND STREET has been announced.

Step into a dazzling world of glitz and glamour with 42ND STREET. This quintessential Broadway classic transports you to the golden age of musical theatre, where dreams were just a tap dance away.

Starring Mia Kobayashi as Peggy Sawyer, with Lewis Griffiths as Julian Marsh, Michelle Bishop as Dorothy Brock, Brian O’Muiri as Billy Lawlor, Rosie Strobel as Maggie Jones and TJ Lloyd as Bert Barry.

Also starring Pete Gallagher as Abner Dillon and Tim Rogers as Pat Denning.

The female ensemble features Katharine Pearson as Anytime Annie, Issie Wilman, Tia Gyngell, Esme Kennedy, Imogen Bailey, Danielle Huntley, and Dammi Aregbeshola. The male ensemble features Cris Penfold as Andy Lee, with Bradley Trevethan, Chris Gray, Benjamin Drew, Joseph Bristow, Theo UK Rose, and Mark Austin.

42ND STREET follows the journey of a small-town girl, Peggy Sawyer, who arrives in New York City ready to make her big break. This multi award-winning show is a celebration of hope, ambition, and the magic of show business.

Featuring an unforgettable score filled with classics such as “We’re in the Money”, “Lullaby of Broadway”, “Shuffle off to Buffalo” and the title track “42nd Street”

Directed & choreographed by Lee Proud, with associate choreographer Charlotte Gale, musical direction & supervision by Rick Coates, set & costume design by Phillip Witcomb, lighting design by Jason Taylor, sound design by Chris Whybrow and casting by Sarah Goggin.

42ND STREET has music by Harry Warren and lyrics by Al Dubin, with a book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble. Based on the novel by Bradford Ropes.

42ND STREET will play Kilworth House Theatre, running from 17th June – 13th July 2025, with tickets on sale now.

It’s wonderful to see Mia Kobayashi lead another show, alongside some other wonderful names. I think I will have to finally make the trip to Kilworth House Theatre this summer! ! !
