A major UK & Ireland tour of the smash-hit, stage musical adaptation of MRS. DOUBTFIRE has been announced.
Beloved Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire will be packing up her suitcase and hitting the road next year as her West End and Broadway musical MRS. DOUBTFIRE tours the UK and Ireland for the first time.
The hit comedy musical will open at the Birmingham Hippodrome in August 2026 followed by dates in Newcastle, Plymouth, Leeds, Glasgow, and Southampton with many more cities to be announced.
A hilarious and heartfelt story about holding onto your loved ones against all odds, Mrs. Doubtfire is the musical comedy we need right now.
Out-of-work actor Daniel will do anything for his kids. After losing custody in a messy divorce, he creates the alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to stay in their lives. As his new character takes on a life of its own, Mrs. Doubtfire teaches Daniel more than he bargained for about how to be a father.
The UK & Ireland tour of MRS. DOUBTFIRE will star Gabriel Vick as Daniel Hillard, reprising his acclaimed performance from the West End production. Further casting to be announced.
Directed by 4-time Tony winner Jerry Zaks, featuring choreography by Lorin Latarro, music supervision, arrangements & orchestrations by Ethan Popp, scenic design is by David Korins, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by Philip S. Rosenberg, hair design by David Brian Brown, casting by Stuart Burt and children’s casting director is Verity Naughton.
