⭐ ROALD DAHL’S THE BFG – WORLD PREMIERE – NEW STAGE ADAPTATION ANNOUNCED BY THE RSC ⭐

The world premiere of a new stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s THE BFG has been announced by the RSC, as part of their 2025/26 season.

Roald Dahl’s unforgettable story come to life this winter in a magical new adaptation by Tom Wells, directed by RSC co-artistic director Daniel Evans.

Joining Evans and Wells on the creative team is puppetry designer & director Toby Olié, with set design by Vicki Mortimer, costume design by Kinnetia Isidore, lighting design by Zoe Spurr, video design by Akhila Krishnan, illusions by Chris Fisher, composer Oleta Haffner, sound design by Carolyn Downing, choreographer & movement direction by Ira Mandela Siobhan, puppetry co-design by Daisy Beattie, casting direction by Christopher Worrall CDG and children’s casting direction by Verity Naughton CDG.

THE BFG is a Royal Shakespeare Company, Chichester Festival Theatre and Roald Dahl Story Company production.

Further details and booking will be announced in September 2025.

THE BFG will play the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, running from 25th November 2025 – 31st January 2026 and Chichester Festival Theatre, running from 16th March – 12th April 2026.
