FLOPZ! – A musical concert of ‘Songs that Popped from the Shows that Flopped’ has been announced for the Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne.
The concert will be lead by West End stars Kerry Ellis (Wicked, Anything Goes) and Dean John Wilson (The King and I, Death Note).
Featuring Natalie Roberts, Steve Stapley, Emma Jane Fearnley, Jonny Weston, Maisie Edwards, Star Bray, Alice Redmond, Josh Perry and George Dawes.
FLOPZ! is a revue concert featuring the most beautiful songs from musical theatre history that emerged from shows that never quite made it. Including songs from shows that flopped in the West End, hits that didn’t quite resonate on Broadway and revivals that famously weren’t successful that second time round.
Including songs from La Cage Aux Folles, Tick Tick Boom, Chess, The Pyjama Game, Merrily We Roll Along and medleys from songs written by the likes of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stephen Sondheim and the Spice Girls.
The concert will feature musical direction by Carl Greenwood, with direction & choreography by Stuart Simons.
Presented By The Sea Productions in association with Unusual Theatre.
FLOPZ! will play Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne, on Saturday 25th May 2024 – 3pm & 7:45pm, with tickets on sale now.
