Casting has been announced for the German stage musical premiere of DISNEY’S HERCULES.
Starring Benét Monteiro as Hercules, Mae Ann Jorolan as Meg, Leslie Beehann as Calliope, Chasity Crisp as Thalia, Venolia as Terpsichore, UZOH as Clio and Shekinah Mcfarlane as Melpomene.
Also starring Kristofer Weinstein-Storey as Phil, Detlef Leistenschneider as Hades, Andre Haedicke as Charles, Mario Saccoccio as Heinz and Hope Maine as Alternate Hercules.
Featuring Sophie Mefan, Bathoni Buenorkuor, Marta Di Giulio, Pele Yearwood, Ginevra Campanella, Teya Quarmyne, Talitha Dara, Stefano Francabandiera, Guillerno Martinez Ayala, Salvartore Marchione, Salvatore Maione, Marco Ciullo, Jack Butcher, David Negletto, Gianluca Conversano, Swen Overman, Flavio Marullo, Christopher Dederichs, Samuel Hoi Ming Chung, Johnny Galeandro, Julia van Kouwen, Indy Luna Correa, Jessica Reese, Virginia Vass, Ingrid Olivia and Reginald Jennings.
The new iteration is directed and choreographed by Tony winner Casey Nicholaw, alongside co-choreographer Tanisha Scott.
HERCULES has music is by Alan Menken and lyrics by David Zippel, with a book by Robert Horn and Kwame Kwei-Armah. Adapted from the 1997 Disney animated classic, screenplay by Ron Clements, John Musker, Donald McEnery, Bob Shaw, and Irene Mecchi.
DISNEY’S HERCULES will play the Theater Neue Flora in Hamburg, Germany, running from 24th March 2024, with tickets on sale now.
