⭐ MARTHA KIRBY & TYRONE HUNTLEY TO LEAD CURVE LEICESTER REVIVAL OF TIM RICE & ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER’S EVITA ⭐
Initial casting has been announced Leicester’s Curve theatre new Made at Curve production of EVITA.
Leading the musical as the groundbreaking, glamorous and divisive Eva Perón will be Martha Kirby, whose recent credits include Raven in the UK tour of Bat Out of Hell, Bella Cohen in Rags at the Park Theatre and Sandy in the first UK tour of Curve’s Grease the Musical.
Tyrone Huntley will play the role of Che. Tyrone’s credits include Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, The View UpStairs at Soho Theatre and Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre.

This year Nikolai Foster directs an unmissable new Made at Curve production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary musical EVITA.
As Eva Duarte, a child born into poverty, she followed her dreams of becoming an actress. As Eva Perón, she captured the hearts of Argentina’s working classes, broke new ground for women in politics and became the most powerful woman in Latin America.
Follow the wild days and mad existence of one of history’s most glamorous, glorified and divisive figures in this multi-award-winning musical, which features countless unforgettable songs including “Buenos Aires”, “Another Suitcase in Another Hall”, “Oh What a Circus” and the anthemic “Don’t Cry for me Argentina”.
Directed by Nikolai Foster, with set design by Michael Taylor, musical supervision by Stephen Brooker, musical direction by Ben van Tienen and choreography by World Choreography Award-winning Adam Murray. The production team will also include costume design by Edd Lindley, lighting design by Joshie Hariette, sound design by Adam Fisher, and wigs, hair & make-up design by Sam Cox. Casting is by Curve associate Kay Magson CDG and Olivia Laydon.
EVITA will play Curve Leicester, running from 27th November 2023 – 13th January 2024, with tickets on sale now.
