⭐ GYPSY – MILL AT SONNING – FULL CAST ANNOUNCED ⭐
The full cast for The Mill at Sonning Theatre production of Gypsy has been announced.
Starring Daniel Crowder as Herbie, Samuel How as LA, Buna McCreery-Njie as Kansas, Tim Maxwell-Clarke as Pop, Peter Nash as Tulsa, Seren Sandham-Davies as Agnes, Marina Tavolieri as June, Laura Tryer as Tessie, Susannah van den Berg as Mazeppa, Joseph Vella as Yonkers and Natalie Winsor as Electra.
The children are played by Daisy Jeffcoate, Mia Burton, Isla Jones are Baby June. Sophie Bidgood, Aimee Brain, Sophie Lloyd are Baby Louise. Avi Kruijt, Sacha Yarwood, Samuel Logan, George Clarke, Joshua Rowe, Harley Coles are Newsboy.
Featuring musicians Joe Atkin-Reeves, Callum White and Alexia Barbera.
They join the previously announced Rebecca Thornhill as Mama Rose and Evelyn Hoskins as her daughter Louise.
Gypsy tells the story of burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee and her ultimate showbiz mother, Rose.
Gypsy features a fabulous score by Jules Style and lyrics from Stephen Sondheim, including the memorable songs ‘Let Me Entertain You’, ‘Everything’s Coming Up Roses’, ‘You Gotta Have a Gimmick’, ‘Some People’ and ‘All You Need Is The Girl’.
This production will be created by the team behind The Mill’s critically acclaimed productions of My Fair Lady and ‘Singin’ In The Rain’.
Gypsy will be directed by Joseph Pitcher, with musical arranger & musical director Francis Goodhand, design by Jason Denvir, costume design by Natalie Titchener, lighting Design by Nic Farman and casting by Pearson Casting.
Gypsy will play The Mill At Sonning, running from 24th May – 15th July 2023.
