Casting has been announced for the UK tour The SpongeBob Musical, it has been announced.
The SpongeBob Musical will star Lewis Cornay as SpongeBob, Irfan Damani as Patrick, Chrissie Bhima as Sandy, Gareth Gates as Squidward, Divina de Campo as Sheldon J. Plankton, Sarah Freer as Pearl, Eloise Davies as Mrs Puff, Hannah Lowther as Karen and Rebecca Lisewski as Mayor.
Also starring Sam Beveridge, Jeremiah Olaleye, Eleanor Turianksy, Rhys Batten and Reece Kerridge.
Prepare to plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show as SpongeBob and his friends in Bikini Bottom face the total destruction of their undersea world. Chaos erupts. Lives hang in the balance. And just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!
With wave after wave of original songs by the world’s most iconic rock and pop artists, including Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, Lady A, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! The tour will open at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton on 5th April 2023, before heading off around the UK.
