⭐ SANDRA MARVIN TO LEAD SISTER ACT – THE MUSICAL UK TOUR ⭐
Sandra Marvin will lead the upcoming UK tour of Sister Act – The Musical, it has been announced.
Marvin will star in the iconic role of Deloris Van Cartier, famously played by Whoopi Goldberg in the original film.
Beverley Knight will play the role of Deloris Van Cartier, for the Eventim Apollo London run from 19th July – 28th August 2022.
Also announced for the UK tour is Lesley Joseph (Birds of A Feather) as Mother Superior, Lizzie Bea (Hairspray) as Sister Mary Robert and Clive Rowe (The Prince of Egypt) as Eddie Souther.
The musical is taken from the 1992 film of the same name and tells the story of a singer hidden in a convent for protection after she witnesses a murder.
Sister Act the Musical features music from eight-time Academy Award-winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, book by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner and additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.
