Liisi LaFontaine and Jamie Bogyo are set to lead the highly anticipated West End production of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, it has been announced.
LaFontaine will star as Satine with newcomer Jamie Bogyo set to play Christian in the upcoming production, due to open at the Piccadilly Theatre this November.
They will be joined by Elia Lo Tauro, Sophie Carmen-Jones, Simon Bailey, Jason Pennycooke, Johnny Bishop, Zoe Birkett, Timmika Ramsay and Clive Carter.
Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film comes to life onstage, remixed in a new musical mash-up extravaganza. A theatrical celebration of truth, beauty, freedom and — above all — love, Moulin Rouge! is more than a musical; it is a state of mind.
Moulin Rouge! The Musical will play the Piccadilly Theatre, running from 12th November 2021.
