⭐ LUCY ST LOUIS TO STAR AS CHRISTINE IN WEST END PRODUCTION OF THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA ⭐
Lucy St Louis will star as Christine in the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera, it has been announced.
St Louis will take on the role when the show reopens at Her Majesty’s Theatre in July. She has previously starred in Motown The Musical, Beautiful The Carole King Musical and Man of La Mancha.
Her casting marks the first time a black performer has played the role of Christine, in the West End or Broadway productions.
She joins the previously announced Killian Donnelly who will star as the Phantom.
The Phantom of the Opera has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Charles Hart, and a book by Lloyd Webber and Richard Stilgoe. Based on the 1910 French novel of the same name by Gaston Leroux.
