⭐ 42ND STREET TO STREAM ONLINE FOR FREE ⭐
The smash-hit West End musical 42nd Street will be streamed on YouTube for free, as part of The Shows Must Go On! series, it has been announced.
42nd Street tells the story of famed theater director Julian Marsh as he tries to mount Pretty Lady, a musical extravaganza at the height of the Great Depression.
With a score that includes such tunes as “We’re in the Money,” “Lullaby of Broadway” and “Shuffle Off to Buffalo”.
The production stars Tom Lister (Julian Marsh), Philip Bertioli (Billy Lawlor), Clare Halse (Peggy Sawyer), and Bonnie Langford (Dorothy Brock).
Also featuring Jasna Ivir (Maggie Jones), Christopher Howell (Bert Barry), Matthew Goodgame (Pat Denning), Graeme Henderson (Andy Lee), Bruce Montague (Abner Dillon), Mark McKerracher (Mac/ Doc / Thug), Emma Caffrey (Annie), Ella Martine (Lorraine), Clare Rickard (Phyllis) and Paul Knight (Oscar).
42nd Street has design by Douglas W Schmidt, direction by Mark Bramble, choreography by Randy Skinner, musical direction by Jae Alexander, lighting by Peter Mumford, sound by Gareth Owen and costume by Roger Kirk.
42nd Street opened at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in April 2017, featuring a cast of more than 50, the largest in the West End.
The show will be available to watch on YouTube, via The Shows Must Go On! channel, from Friday 4th December at 7pm GMT and will be available for 48 hours.
