THE BOY IN THE DRESS WEST END PLANS REVEALED

⭐ THE BOY IN THE DRESS WEST END PLANS REVEALED ⭐

The Royal Shakespeare Company have revealed plans for their new musical The Boy in the Dress to come to the West End, it has been announced.

The show had been due to go into the Savoy Theatre in the autumn after Sunday in the Park with George, but the pandemic has thrown plans up in the air.

RSC artistic director Gregory Doran commented: “When the environment is a bit more secure we hope to bring The Boy in the Dress into town – audiences loved it and it’d be a really shame for it not to go beyond Stratford.”

David Walliams’ heart-warming comedy was brought to the stage for the first time in a musical with all new songs from Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers, script by former RSC playwright in residence Mark Ravenhill and in a production for all the family directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran.

I definitely wanted to see this! I hope we get to see this in the West End sooner, rather than later.
