The critically acclaimed Donmar Warehouse production of the Broadway musical NEXT TO NORMAL has announced its full company ahead of its West End transfer this summer.

Carolyn Maitland joins the company as standby Diana, having previously performed this role during the Donmar Warehouse season, alongside new cast members Ben Heathcote as standby Dan/Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine, Lizzy Parker as standby Natalie, Jake Reynolds as standby Gabe/Henry.

They join the previously announced Caissie Levy, Trevor Dion Nicholas, Jack Ofrecio, Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Jamie Parker, Jack Wolfe and Olivier Award winner and BAFTA nominee Eleanor Worthington-Cox.

NEXT TO NORMAL won three Tony Awards, including Best Original Score, as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, one of only 10 musicals in history to receive the prestigious honour.

NEXT TO NORMAL is an intimate exploration of family and illness, loss and grief. At its heart is Diana Goodman, a suburban wife and mother living with bipolar disorder and haunted by her past. Donmar Artistic Director Michael Longhurst directs this powerful rock musical.

Featuring musical supervisor Nigel Lilley, designer Chloe Lamford, movement, choreography & additional direction Ann Yee, lighting designer Lee Curran, sound designer Tony Gayle, video designer Tal Rosner, casting director Anna Cooper CDG, musical director Nick Barstow and production manager Chris Hay.

NEXT TO NORMAL has music by Tom Kitt, with a book & lyrics by Brian Yorkey.

NEXT TO NORMAL will play the Wyndham’s Theatre, from 18th June 2024, for a strictly limited 14-week season. Tickets are on sale now.
