⭐ WAITRESS BROADWAY REVIVAL – STARRING SARA BAREILLES PLANNED ⭐
Waitress will be reportedly be making its way back to to Broadway for a limited run, starring Sara Bareilles, it has been revealed.
According to the Wall Street Journal, producer Barry Weissler confirmed the show will return later this year. There are also plans to film the production, after Covid derailed previous plans to film the West End production.
Based on the film of the same name, it follows a waitress in a diner who dreams of leaving her job and forging a life of her own.
Waitress has an original score by seven-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles, book by Jessie Nelson, direction by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus and choreography by Lorin Latarro.
