Rupert Goold, Artistic Director of the Almeida Theatre, will direct the in-development Tammy Faye Bakker musical, it has been announced.
A workshop is set for late April, with hopes for the show to run at the Almeida Theatre in 2021.
Sir Elton John and Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears are collaborating with Tony–nominated playwright James Graham on the new musical based on the life of late televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker.
