⭐ SPECIAL SCREENING OF JOHN WATERS’ HAIRSPRAY WITH RICKI LAKE, LEANNE JONES & LIZZIE BEA ANNOUNCED ⭐
A special screening of John Waters’ Hairspray has been announced.
This screening will be followed by a special Q&A with a trio of Tracys: Emmy award-winning actor and talk show host legend Ricki Lake (who originated the character Tracy Turnblad), Olivier award-winner Leanne Jones (for her role as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray the musical) and Lizzie Bea (about to open in the major London revival as Tracy Turnblad) who will be discussing the film’s dance musical roots and it’s legacy as a stage and screen musical.
The screening will be held at the BFI Southbank on Monday 25th November 2019 – 6pm.
