⭐ SONY ANIMATION’S VIVO – NEW MUSICAL WITH SONGS BY LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA – RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED ⭐
Sony has announced a new release date for the Sony Animation animated musical Vivo.
The film is Sony Pictures Animation’s first musical, featuring all-new original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Miranda originally set Vivo at DreamWorks Animation when his In The Heights was a Broadway smash and has been working on this project for over 10 years.
Will Smith stars in the movie as a capuchin with a thirst for adventure and a passion for music who makes a treacherous passage from Havana to Miami to fulfill his destiny.
Vivo is directed by Kirk De Micco & co-directed by Brandon Jeffords, written by In the Heights book writer Quiara Alegría Hudes with songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Vivo is now set to be released in US cinemas on 4th June 2021.
