Sister Act tells the hilarious story of Deloris Van Cartier, a disco diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder. Under protective custody she is hidden in the one place she won’t be found – a Convent!
Based on the hit 1992 movie, starring Whoopi Goldberg, of the same name with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, and additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.
I got to see the tour a couple of times before and loved it. Looking forwards to it coming back! ! !
