⭐ RUMOUR – DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST WEST END RETURN PLANNED ⭐
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast will be reportedly returning to London’s West End in the near future, it is rumoured.
Plans are reportedly being made for a fresh and reimagined production to come to London’s Dominion Theatre, hopefully next year, with talks of a tour happening after.
This lines up with reports from last year, that Disney had set its sights on staging a new international production.
The original West End production played at London’s Dominion Theatre from April 1997 – December 1999.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast also won Best New Musical at the 1998 Olivier Awards.
Beauty and the Beast is a musical with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and book by Linda Woolverton. Adapted from Walt Disney Pictures’ Academy Award-winning 1991 animated musical film of the same name.
Of course, this is is all unconfirmed at this stage but this would make a lot of sense from what I’ve heard so far. Though plans may change due to the current situation the world is dealing with.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is very special to me. I didn’t get to see the original West End production and I think it’s long overdue for a revival.
