AH-MAZING ? ?

This review is definitely for Lea Salonga fans.

I have wanted to see Lea Salonga in concert for years after discovering my love for Miss Saigon; Of course I’d loved her before that growing up watching Aladdin and Mulan.

I got to hear them live, with her voice having bearly changed in 30 years. The woman is a vocal BEAST!

Lea Salonga

Things I ABSOLUTELY Loved – “Reflection” from Disney’s Mulan, “I’d Give My Life For You” from Miss Saigon and a special unplanned duet with her Miss Saigon co-star Simon Bowman, in which they sang “A Whole New World” from Disney’s Aladdin. Apparently the first time they’d ever sang that song together as well, which is crazy!

Things I didn’t know I needed – Lea singing “Go The Distance” from Disney’s Hercules and my personal favourite “Journey To The Past” from Anastasia.

Things I’d change – The crowd were left wanting more and more. I was only disappointed I didn’t get to hear her sing “Sun and Moon” and “I Still Believe”, being the hardcore Miss Saigon fan I am.

The show was wonderful, she threw in some real curve ball song choices. If you are any kind of fan, I urge you to get tickets if you still can. One more off the bucket list.
