⭐ RACHEL ZEGLER TO STAR AS SNOW WHITE IN DISNEY LIVE-ACTION REMAKE ⭐
West Side Story star Rachel Zegler is set to star as Snow White in Disney’s live-action remake of the animated classic.
According to Deadline, Zegler is set to star as Snow White in Walt Disney live-action adaptation of the film that started it all for studio’s legendary slated of animated features.
The 1937 American animated musical fantasy film was produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by RKO Radio Pictures. Based on the 1812 German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, it is the first full-length traditionally animated feature film and the first Disney animated feature film.
The original animated classic featured the now iconic songs such as “I’m Wishing”, “Heigh-ho”, “Whistle While You Work” and “Someday My Prince Will Come”.
Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman and Dear Evan Hansen) will write new songs for the movie.
Marc Webb will direct the live-action remake with Marc Platt producing. Production is expected to start in 2022.
