⭐ JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR: THE CONCERT CAST ANNOUNCED – FEAT. DECLAN BENNETT, PEPE NUFRIO, TYRONE HUNTLEY & RICARDO ALFONSO ⭐
The full cast for Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre’s concert production of Jesus Christ Superstar, has been announced.
Declan Bennett and Pepe Nufrio will share title role of Jesus, Tyrone Huntley and Ricardo Afonso will share the role of Judas with Anoushka Lucas and Maimuna Memon sharing the role of Mary.
Also joining the cast is David Thaxton (Pilate), Shaq Taylor (Herod), Ivan De Freitas (Caiaphas), Nathan Amzi (Annas), Phil King (Peter) and Cedric Neal (Simon).
With Genesis Lynea, Rosa O’Reilly and Elliotte Williams-N’Dure cast as the ‘Soul Sisters’.
Completing the cast are Justin Bailey, Dale Evans, Rosie Fletcher, Josh Hawkins, Stevie Hutchinson, Billy Nevers, Charlotte Riby, Tinovimbanashe Sibanda, Barnaby Thompson and Tara Young.
The theatre will re-open its doors for 70 performances this summer, with reduced capacity down to 390 seats, the show will be presented from Friday 14th August for six weeks.
The 90-minute production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s show will have socially distanced audiences and cast members.
