⭐ JACK ABSOLUTE FLIES AGAIN – FULL CAST ANNOUNCED ⭐

Full casting has been announced for the National Theatre’s revival of Jack Absolute Flies Again.

Laurie Davidson, who recently starred as Mr. Mistoffelees in the film adaptation of the musical Cats, has been confirmed to join the cast.

He will joined by Caroline Quentin, James Fleet, Richard Fleeshman, Natalie Simpson, Lisa McGrillis, Helena Wilson, Jordan Metcalfe, James Corrigan, Akshay Sharan, Tim Steed, Theo Cowan and Azan Ahmed.

July 1940. After an aerial dog fight, Pilot Officer Jack Absolute flies home to rejoin his intrepid young Hurricane squadron at RAF Fontwell (formerly Malaprop Hall).

Back on British soil, Jack is shocked to find his old flame, Lydia, on the base. Setting his sights on winning her heart, Jack’s advances turn to anarchy when the young heiress demands to be loved on her own terms.

Staged to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, Thea Sharrock (After the Dance) directs a riotous new comedy based on Sheridan’s The Rivals, co-written by Richard Bean (One Man, Two Guvnors) and Oliver Chris.

Jack Absolute Flies Again will play at the Olivier Theatre and run from 15th April – 25th July 2020.

A cinema screening was also announced for the show, it will be broadcast live in cinemas on 23rd July 2020.
