⭐ FOREVER PLAID – RESCHEDULED DATES ANNOUNCED FOR UPSTAIRS AT THE GATEHOUSE – JUNE 2021 ⭐

Upstairs at the Gatehouse have revealed rescheduled dates for the musical Forever Plaid, it has been announced.

A socially distanced production of Forever Plaid will be back once more at the Gatehouse. This delicious fun revue is chock-full of classic quartet harmonies and pitch-perfect melodies.

Francis, Jinx, Smudge and Sparky loved to sing. They all met in high school around 1956, and, as Forever Plaid, dreamed of becoming like their idols – The Four Aces and The Crew Cuts. They rehearsed in the basement of Smudge’s family’s plumbing supply company. It was here they became FOREVER PLAID.

Cast includes Cameron Burt, George Crawford and Alex Zane.

Forever Plaid was written and originally directed & choreographed by Stuart Ross, musical continuity, supervision & arrangements by James Raitt, originally produced by Gene Wolsk, performed by arrangement with Music Theatre international (Europe) Limited.

The Upstairs at the Gatehouse production will be directed by John Plews, with musical direction by Ian Oakley, choreography by Racky Plews and Eddie Slattery as associate choreographer.

Upstairs at the Gatehouse have implemented measures to ensure that the theatre is Covid-secure, including social distancing, temperature checks, reduced capacity, mask wearing & more.

These protocols will stay in place for the first three weeks of the run of Forever Plaid. After 21st June they will refer to government guidelines regarding socially distanced seating.

Forever Plaid will play Upstairs at the Gatehouse, now running from 1st – 27th June 2021.
