⭐ DANNY PINO JOINS DEAR EVAN HANSEN FILM ADAPTATION ⭐
Danny Pino (Cold Case, Law & Order: SVU) will join the cast of the highly anticipated film adaptation of Tony-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen, it has been announced.
He will be playing the role of Larry Murphy. The role will also be reconceived for the film adaptation, with the character becoming a step-father.
Pino joins the previously announced Amy Adams (Cynthia Murphy), Nik Dodani (Jared Kleinman), Colton Ryan (Connor Murphy), Amandla Stenberg (Alana Beck) and Kaitlyn Dever (Zoe Murphy).
Ben Platt is expected to reprise his Tony Award-winning performance as Evan Hansen, in the film adaptation.
Director Stephen Chbosky will helm from a script by Steven Levenson, who wrote the book for the stage. Music and lyrics by Academy Award-winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
