CAPTAIN CORELLI’S MANDOLIN TO TRANSFER TO HAROLD PINTER THEATRE

⭐ CAPTAIN CORELLI’S MANDOLIN TO TRANSFER TO HAROLD PINTER THEATRE ⭐

Rose Theatre Kingston’s production of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin will transfer to the West End for an eight-week run at the Harold Pinter Theatre this summer.

Based on the best-selling novel by Louis de Bernières, the play is an epic love story set on a Greek island where a doctor lives on the island with his daughter Pelagia, and it follows the Italian captain Antonio Corelli during the Italian and German occupation during the Second World War.

The book was first released in 1994 and has been adapted for radio for the BBC, into a film starring Nicholas Cage and Penelope Cruz, and stage.

Directed by Melly Still and adapted by Rona Munro, this production first ran at Rose Theatre Kingston earlier this year.

Captain Corelli’s Mandolin will play the Harold Pinter Theatre from 4th July until 31st August.

Glad this is transferring, I missed it on the tour.
