CAMERON MACKINTOSH REVEALS PERMANENT CLOSURE OF WEST END’S THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

⭐ CAMERON MACKINTOSH REVEALS PERMANENT CLOSURE OF WEST END’S THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA ⭐

Cameron Mackintosh has revealed he’s had to permanently close the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera.

In a piece penned for the Evening Standard, he reveals he’s had to downsize his organisation to ensure the company’s survival, and that one show already has not survived.

Mackintosh states: “On top of this, Andrew [Lloyd Webber] and I have had to sadly permanently had to shut down our London and UK touring productions of The Phantom of the Opera, but are determined to bring it back to London in the future”.

Wow… I can’t believe he’s actually done that. I know it will be back eventually but there’s no timetable as to when now.

Also I fear it won’t be “the brilliant original” production, when it does, with the recent rumours of the show being updated.
