⭐ BEAUTY AND THE BEAST UK TOUR – INITIAL DATES ANNOUNCED ⭐
Initial dates for the UK & Ireland tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast have been announced.
The tour begin with a 5-week run at the Curve Leicester from 25th May – 26th June 2021.
Also announced for the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from 8th July – 31st July, Bristol Hippodrome from 12th August – 18th September, Liverpool Empire from 23rd September – 16th October and Edinburgh Playhouse from 21st October – 27th November.
A few extra details were announced with Disney Theatrical President revealing changes the creative team are making, including a radical one for Belle, “She doesn’t wear an apron anymore!” and that new tap dance routine with be added to ‘Be Our Guest’.
Director Robert Jesse Roth is also eying a diverse cast for the new production.
Beauty and the Beast is a musical with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and book by Linda Woolverton. Adapted from Walt Disney Pictures’ Academy Award-winning 1991 animated musical film of the same name.
