The world premiere of An American Tail – The Musical, the stage musical adaptation of beloved animated film, has been announced.
The show has been announced for the 2022/23 season from The Children’s Theatre Company, in Minneapolis.
In this riveting new musical based on the beloved animated film, optimistic young Fievel Mousekewitz escapes Russia by boat, making his way as a new immigrant in the vast city of New York. Despite everything stacked against him, Fievel clings to his dreams of a better life and reuniting with his family. Are they Somewhere Out There?
An American Tail – The Musical is a Children’s Theatre Company Commissioned World Premiere Production in association with Universal Theatrical Group.
This world premiere production, based on the Universal Pictures/Amblin Entertainment animated film, will be directed by Taibi Magar.
An American Tail – The Musical has a book & lyrics by Itamar Moses (The Band’s Visit), with music & lyrics by Michael Mahler and Alan Schmuckler.
An American Tail – The Musical will play the The Children’s Theatre Company, running from 25th April – 18th June 2023.
